This event was a big decision of Caesar's. The impact was that many people died and he would receive many big consequences. "The die is cast" means that events have already been put forward. and you cannot stop them. It's like when you roll a pair of dice, you can't choose how it will land. The dice represents the events, and the dice rolling represents the events that will take place.

The senators surrounded Caesar and then proceeded to stab him multiple times in multiple areas of his body. The senators decided to assassinate him because they thought Caesar was going to take over the senate. Caesar also thought that he was better than the senate. When they came to talk to him, he didn't even stand up to greet them. The impact of this event was that the entire city of Rome thought that they were doomed because Caesar was so helpful.
I do not think that Julius Caesar was guilty to be killed. If someone doesn't respect you, there's no reason to end their life. I think that Caesar wanted to die a memorable death. My first reason is that Caesar ignored all three warnings from different people that warned him not to go to the senate in the ides of march. My second reason is that Caesar knew that he was not liked at all by mostly all of the senate and government officials. My third and final reason is that Caesar was very sick at the time. He had an illness that had something to do with mental stability at the time.
